Towards the end of 2021 to mid 2022, I had the opportunity of cutting several episodes of The Chase Australia, whilst doing my Assistant Editor role at the same time. It was my first time editing for broadcast on Avid Media Composer, having the knowledge as an Assistant understanding the programme I was able to step up whenever I could.

A year after the show’s cancellation for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I had always thought on what a music video for the show would be like, luckily we had a great song that was featured in the Making of documentary, so the combination of the song as well as using clips from the show helped in the creation of this video and had fun editing it up.

This was my first documentary I directed during my third year of film school at Footscray City Films, with losing everything from the Black Saturday bushfires and my family surviving the day of the events that transpired. I decided for my third year to do a documentary about their survival. Original titled 07.02.09 and released in late 2009, I went back to the documentary five years later in 2014 to update it with colour grading and as a test to transfer a project from Final Cut Pro 7 to Final Cut Pro X (now known as Final Cut Pro for Mac)

The documentary was Best Documentary award for Footscray City Films end of year awards.
